Mesmereyes Silver Solitaire

Solitaire has been adopted and
has settled in very well with
her new family. Solly has
adjusted well to living with
young children and generally
runs the house.
Daisy is 2 yo and was surrendered
back to us by her family.  She has
been adopted and her story will
follow soon.
Miamber Silver Lorelie
Hello Carole
Just to let you know that Lorelei has settled beautifully. It
seems that she needed a week to get her bearings and
feel secure and then she decided to take control of her new
household!
She is her own "person" and something she might have
done and enjoyed yesterday may not be what she wants
today....I am sure you know all this.....At present she is on
my lap whilst I type this and last night she was on our bed
chewing my husbands hair ! Other times she prefers to
sleep on or under her favourite chair in my study. The
appearance  of the dog outside the window doesn't faze
her anymore.....she just gives it a bored look and carries
on like it doesn't exsist.
HRH loves being brushed , now has 2 scratching posts
(one with house , one without ), won't eat Fancy Feast,
Dine etc .....only fresh meat or chicken and of course her
dry food.
I am really enjoying her company and so glad that she
came my way.... Will keep you updated on her progress
and send photos soon.
Hope this finds you in good health and spirits.

Kind regards
Gail
Hi Carole,

Just a quick email to let you know how Dream is
settling down with us.  She has very quickly become
a part of our family.  She loves playing with Sue and
sitting near her in her room.  She plays with Lee and
sits near him, but not on him very often.  She loves to
come and sit on me to have lots of cuddles, and she
sleeps next to me on the bed, she like to lay resting
against my legs when she goes to sleep.  She and
Bella are slowly becoming acquainted.  Dream is a
bright little girl, she is usually very respectful of Bella
- she doesn't come too close and she sits on all four
so she is smaller than Bella.  Occasionally, she
pushes Bella a bit by coming a bit too close or sniffs
her tail, then Bella will hiss and throw her paw out
(but in a warning rather than nasty manner).
Obviously we do not leave them alone together and
will continue to  monitor all their interactions until
they establish their boundaries.
She is having a
wonderful time exploring our house and she loves
the toys we got her, but she is most happy playing
with lengths of leather - throwing them around,
having it dangled in front of her, etc.
Mesmereyes Violas Primrose
Primrose is only 15 months old
and has had one litter of kittens.
She also helped to raise another
litter as their mother didn't have
enough milk, so she is our angel.
She has just weaned this second
litter and is ready for her new
home.

I AM SAD TO SAY THAT
PRIMROSE WENYT TO LIVE WITH
A FAMILY IN MELBOURNE WHO
TURNED OUT TO BE VERY
UNSUITABLE, HOWEVER, THEY
REFUSED TO RETURN HER.
SADLY ONE OF MY POORER
REHOMING DECISIONS. POOR
PRIMROSE DESERVED BETTER, I
AM SO SORRY.

UPDATE
The new owner Primrose,Selina
Ball/Hillman of EdithVale,
dumped Primrose at the
Mornington Peninsular RSPCA
because she talked too much!
She had been adopted by an older
lady the day before I contacted
them to arrange to fly her home
to me.  Primrose is now safe in a
loving home with people who are
true cat lovers.
Genie is a teenager who stayed with
us as she had a severe anaesthetic
reaction during her sterilisation and
needed lots of love and care to
recover. She was adopted by a young
family on 23 May 2010

Hi
Thought we would send you some
pictures of Genie and let you know
how she is getting on.
Well she is certainly a talker and has
the run of the place already, First
night she was a bit quiet and found a
nice safe place to hide until she felt
more at home.
That did not last long, day 2 and she
was all go, full of exploring and
adventure, she is very much a people
cat and has a wonderful nature, the
Girls absolutely adore her as we all
do, she has personality plus and
makes us all laugh. we got a
scratching post with a cubby house
in it and she plays with that a lot
and takes her naps there but prefers
to sleep on our bed at night, we dont
mind that at all.
We made the right choice with both
Genie and her breed and love having
her as a permanent part of our
Family, we are seriously considering
getting her a friend but unsure if we
should look for a kitten or see you
about another adult but do know we
will stay with Bermilla's, what would
you recommend? I know the kids
would love a kitten but unsure how
Genie would go if we introduced one
down the track.
Any way thank you so much for
allowing us to adopt Genie, All of us
in the Parsons family love her very
much, when we go away, we will
bring her back to stay without
question.

Kinky and Rory

Kinky is really Kaleb but he has a
wonderful kink in his tail so... He
and Rory have been adopted by
Sharon and Philip who are spoiling
them and building a wonderful
outdoor enclosure. Paradise for little
kitties!

Hi Carole and Sandor,
Just a quick update on the two
"children". As you will see from the
photo's, the enclosure is coming
along well. Thank you for telling us
about the cat nets.com.au
They took a week to get the order to
us, which was pretty good. The cat
window went in last Thursday and it
took Rory & Kinky 3 days to work out
how to work it. They still have a bit
of problem with it, but they are
getting there.
Both of them are just adorable and
affectionate.
Cheers,
Sharon & Philip
Primrose happy in her new
home after being rescued by a
